Privacy Policy

Welcome to the Bar to PSI Converter, a simple, client-side web utility. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to protecting your privacy. Because the tool runs entirely in your browser, we follow a strict no-data-collection policy. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information from users.

Information We Do Not Collect

The Bar to PSI Converter is designed to be completely private. We do not collect any of the following:

  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or any contact details.
  • Usage or Technical Data including IP addresses, browser type, device information, or location.
  • Input Data — any Bar or PSI values you enter are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
  • Analytics or Tracking Data — we do not use cookies, Google Analytics, pixels, or any tracking technologies.

All calculations happen instantly on your device. Your pressure values never leave your browser, ensuring complete data isolation and privacy.

How the Tool Works

When you use the converter:

  • You type values into the Bar or PSI fields.
  • The conversion is performed using JavaScript directly in your browser.
  • Results are displayed instantly with your chosen precision (2 or 15 decimal places).
  • Copying values to clipboard happens locally using your browser’s built-in functions.

No data is sent over the internet. The tool is fully stateless and works even offline after the initial page load.

Third-Party Services and CDNs

We only use Bootstrap via a public CDN for styling. This CDN does not track individual users or collect personal data when serving static CSS files. No other third-party services or scripts are used.

Cookies and Tracking

The Bar to PSI Converter does not use any cookies or tracking technologies. Your session remains completely private and stateless.

Data Security

Since we collect no data, there is nothing for us to secure on our end. We recommend that you follow standard security practices on your own device, such as using updated browsers and avoiding public Wi-Fi when handling sensitive technical data.

Children’s Privacy

This tool is intended for general users and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

International Users

Because no personal data is collected, the tool naturally complies with major privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws worldwide.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
